Not many young people know about Billy Jack; at least those that I know. I know of him because of my parents who watched him when they were in college in the 70s.
"Billy Jack" is about a 1/2 white 1/2 Native American ex-Green Beret martial arts expert who saves people from gangs, racism, prostitution, and what not... through a course of 4 films.
These were a decade before RAMBO came along and I think Billy Jack serves as an inspiration for him.
The last film in the series "Billy Jack Goes to Washington" also by the the way starred Lucille Ball's daughter Lucie Arnaz.
Do you know of this series? What did you think of it? They have a box set of all 4 films out.
