Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry, a major West Wing fan, is further mining the political drama's cast for his own show.

Cherry has tapped Lily Tomlin for the recurring role of Mrs. McCluskey's sister for Housewives' new season. Kathryn Joosten, who plays Mrs. McCluskey, was President Bartlet's first assistant, Mrs. Landingham, on The West Wing, while Tomlin was his second. — William Keck

She was on the Nov. 2nd episode, & she played a tough old lady. lol! Did anyone get a chance to watch it?

Yeah I did . I didn't care for Lily's hat. She did look a bit tough looking. I thought the whole episode the night of 11-9 was quite good. All the plots except the restaurant tape bit that revealed Katherine had a fling with Mike were great. Kept me waiting for more.
