No, they weren't in the first episode. According to the latest issue of TV Guide, the Woodcocks are only going to appear in 3 episodes this season.

I'm guessing as guest stars. We'll probably have a moving away episode. Too bad they fired 'em! The cast of 5 was a great ensamble. Now, :P
