Most of u kThe now I live in Alaska, I have'nt been to the lower 48 states in 15 years, I lived in Seattle, and Albany,Or, I really liked Seattle and Albany which I may go back there some day. The summer 03 2008 was mostly raining, cool, not to cold, and just plan awfull. Nothing rreally grew here lettuce flowers did some good, but veggis like ,carrotts other green vegtable did not to do well unless u had a greenhouse. but I shoud'nt say it was all bad, we had about 2 weeks in the 70's to low 80's, I live by the sea we have breezes that come u and i live by the cliff where I can see three volcano's, when it is nice out it is beautiful. We had bears not to long ago where I live. The blood sucking bug (can't spell it) there has'nt been alot, either bees, ladybugs, the summers usually are nice, last year it was way nice dry bad season for fires, but in the interior like Fairbanks it would get to 80's sunny, most of the time. Anyways I will send some pics of where I live and no we do not have snow all but we do l;ive in igloos. And yes I hope SARA Palin will be vice res,but it has or will have a winter which I like to be uinder the covers and wacthing movies,or reading. www.kenaialaska.com

I always enjoy reading your posts about Alaska because they are so interesting! I visited Alaska for the first time in 2006. My husband and I went on an Alaskan cruise for our tenth wedding anniversary. We had a wonderful time! We went to Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan but I'd love to see more of the state. I absolutely LOVE sea otters, and I would love to see one in the wild up there!

You probably wouldn't recognize Seattle if you visited. It's SOOOO different than it was back in 15 years, but it's still beautiful. I just think Portland is a little nicer; they have cleaner streets and it's not as built up as Seattle. Plus they have TRANSPORTATION methods like light rail, etc.

Okay, now I'm getting off the subject! Sorry!
