I Hate This World Now.....

I know I don't usually make serious threads, but this just had to be said. This world is just a horrible place right now. I was watching a murder show(it was about real-life murders, not made up 'mystery" murders, and an 8 year old had to talk about murder..... of her 2-year old sister! i thought that was really sad.................:( That's sad when a young child has to testify for a murder of a 2 year old.............. :(

Gas prices are ridiculous, and make people play more for food, even people wgho don't use gas, like the elderly and mentally disabled/physically disabled........:(

A girl was crossing the street, and drivers saw her trying to catch a bus, and actually FLOORED it as she tried to catch the bus, almost hitting her... Selfish BASTARDS! good thing she backed away!:mad: :(

Agree. I try to tell myself that God still cares and the world is basically good, but then I hear another story of a hard-working US citizen losing their job or home or old people having to eadt cat food to stay alive or an innocent child getting sick or dying, it makes me think that God doesn't give a ***** about us anymore! :crying:

I completely agree with you! But there have always been bad things going on in the world, which is sad to say. It's just that back then you didn't hear about it as much.

because of her age we made a big deal about it for her. i even gave her a mini tour of the shelter to let her see how her money was going to be used to help.

4. Gov't officials having affairs because they think they can get away with it because they are so rich.
5. September 11, 2001 attacks.

WOW, I agree. The world has never been perfect, never. Bad things have always happened from the beginning of time; and bad, or even horrible events are going to take place. That is life. But, also life is what you make of it. If you want to dwell on the negative, go ahead, but, remember life can be very beautiful, too. And, a lot of blessings occur each day:)

True, right now the world is full of chaos. You just got to find a way to cut through the crap, find some perspective, and do and/or find things that make you happy. If you worry about all the misery in the world, it will just drive you nuts.

I don't hate the world, I can't stand nor understand most of the people in it.


I cant understand most people either(and most people probably cant figure me out either), but its not completly hopeless.

You know, this thread made me think of the Billy Joel song "We didn't start the fire." **** is happening now but it's a no bigger pile than any other period of time. We find a way to go get through it no matter how tough it can be sometimes.

"Though we are gone it will still burn on, and on, and on."

Not the most uplifting last line but it's true. I guess what I'm trying to say is find comfort in the fact that life sucks for everybody!!!
