Every morning before the bell rings, I take a few minutes to sit at my desk and say a prayer for my students. Yup, I pray in a public school! :D I also have baked homemake cookies or cupcakes for my kids at times too. I have also given hugs when a child has a bruised knee or heart. I let the kids play games like Tag and Cops and Robbers at recess. And, at Christmastime, the teacher I work with and I let the kids decorate the classroom.

I am SO bad! <laughs evilly> :p

 I love that song, by the way. Kristen, good for you, sweetie!!! We all know our schools can use all the prayers they can get.

As for me, even though I'm not as bad about this as I used to be, sometimes I speed without even realizing it. I would also surf the net as I worked even though we're not allowed. I DID get caught (:o), but haven't done it since.

Seriously, his profile has him born on october 27, 1915, which makes him 92 years old. I like my chances in a foot chase with him.

I do all of those things with/for my first graders too (except the tag and cops/robbers. There was an injury a few years ago, and now it is such a big deal that I would not be brave enough. The parents filed a lawsuit against the teacher on duty for a lot of money. The child had a broken arm and it was paid for by insurance, but they claimed she was emotionally damaged by the situation. The teacher did not have to pay, but still I'm scared of a lawsuit!)

Not illegal, but I've been known to bring 13 to 16 items in the 12 Items or Less checkout counter. I still say that four cans of cat food counts as one item.

:seeya:

I also pull the tags off on mattresses and pillows.

When we buy grapes, we sometimes sample one to make sure the grapes aren't bitter. We then buy the grapes, if they taste right. I hope I'm not the only one on here who has done that.
One? Jenny, I can fill up in the fruit section. Seriously, I always eat a grape to check if the fruit is sweet enough. I also have my husband distract (tackle) the sample food lady, so I can fill my purse up with whatever she's offering. I'm so kidding.

What's the story behind that little doll in your avatar?

I'll list just ONE illegal thing.

I have ROMs of video games I don't own to play on my computer. And I have them burned to CDs. omg: (look under "Legal Issues" here (http://www.tribuneindia.com/2003/20030210/login/main6.htm).)

I actually got arrested when I was 18 for possession of alcohol under age. I spent about half hour in the jail cell. That was all it took, thus ending my life of crime.

Currently, the only thing I do illegally is I speed way too much.

I have ROMs, too, some of which I got before they were taken down. I've also been known to download pirated software and illegal mp3's. But I try to avoid that now. (But temptation can be a hard thing to resist sometimes!)

i'm not sure if i could really get in trouble for it, but i use a music notation program that doesn't allow you to save files unless you pay a lot of money for the non-trial version, and i found a hole in it that allows you to save the files through a slightly different method. it's a little complicated, but i've been doing it for a long time and it works great. i saved the program onto a disk in case they ever fix the error in later versions and i need to install it on another computer (which i've already done a few times).

oh, i download too. :grr:

If I'm In a hurry and It's late at night and no one is around, I'll run a red light. I'm not gonna set there if there is absolutely no traffic, and wait on a light to change. At that time of night all lights should be flashing.

I completely agree with you. It irritates me when you're the only one on the road and you come to a light and it turns red for no reason. Then you're sitting there all by yourself!!

Several years ago I worked at a place that required me to be there at 4:30 or 5 in the morning, and I was basically the only car on the street at that time. There was this one light on a back street that was always red when I got to it, and It would take forever to change. So I always ran It. But I was always careful to make sure there wasn't anyone coming or a cop hiding somewhere.

I do that. I'm not wasting money on crappy grapes.
