Mr. & Mrs. Monroe and Stanley???

Can you help? My friends and I finally came up with Mr. and Mrs. Monroe and Stanley as characters to a sitcom (we hope), but we can't seem to remember the name of the show. Any input would be appreciated! Thanks! :-)

The characters were Mr. and Mrs. Rush. The daughters that lived downstairs were Jackie and Sarah. The name of the show was Too Close to Comfort. Monroe was no relation to the family--just an annoyance to Mr. Rush(Ted Knight)
