Oh I really dislike Jill in this episode. I usually like Jill the way she plays off Tim in all his antics, but not this time. Her character was so selfish, yes Tim was not acting like the nuturer but hey when has Tim really acted that way?
In the room the speaker on the wall is across from her bed, she would have to get out of the bed to use it. She was able to get to it to ask for tissues but she couldn't get them herself? She just wanted Tim to rub her back and couldn't wait a few hours till after the game.
She ranted and went on about how she couldn't believe Tim would have a Superbowl party while she was sick, yes Tim could have cancelled it but she went out of her way it seemed to make sure the party was a bust. It was not like he wanted to leave her home alone or go out on the town all night, he wanted to watch a once a year game, the Superbowl of all things. She acted like it was a daily thing he wanted to do.
She even brought her butt downstairs and complained about him not taking care of her when she had her wisdom teeth out and the time she had larengitis (sp?). Does she become and invalid or something when she is sick? Yeah being sick you ache and dont feel like having people over but really 3-4 hours for a game is not that big of a deal. And the other times she was naming was obserd, wisdom teeth and larengitis are not major illnesses. I have had both and neither time did I need to be waited on. I mashed my own food, I did not need someone to do it for me. She seemed so desperate for attention, that it made her sound like a whiney brat instead of the Jill I usually love.
Did anyone else think this episode was a really bad portrayal of Jill? Don't get me wrong before flaming me for being unsympathetic but it just seemed for someone who complains about being sick she sure did get out that bed to complain about noise and ask for tissues which she could have done herself by being up.

Yes, I TOTALLY agree with everything you said. I absolutely
LOVE Home Improvement, but Jill did act like a female dog
on this episode! Gosh, in the last season, when she had her
hysterectomy, she would come downstairs and get her own
drink! And, of all things, wanted to work on her thesis
while recovering! Although later she says she'll take the
extension that was offered to her. Go figure.
