Best: Cody, of course. But then, the cast were great together in the first place.

Best: Almost everything...
Worst:... except that they didn't work on Judy, and that they had Steve end up with Laura instead of with Myra.

"TWO & A HALF MEN"-worst-the sexual humor and jokes, and the sex scenes
"MASH"-worst-after the 3rd seanon, making it "THE ALAN ALDA SHOW" and not keeping it the way it was in those first 3 seasons.
"THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW"-worst-continuing it after Don Knotts left.

Diff'rent Strokes
HIGHS: The show found it's ground from S3-S6
LOWS: The last two seasons w/ Sam and Maggie, was very abysmal in S8 when it moved to ABC to the point where it was almost unwatchable.
Barney Miller
HIGHS: Most of everything after S1.
LOWS: The show lost some of its humor once Jack Soo died, but I continued to watch the show.
The Simpsons
HIGHS: Most of everything
LOWS: Some eps. of the current seasons seem like caricactures of previous seasons at times.

I Love Lucy
The Best:
The friendship of the Ricardos and the Mertzes.
All those years of classic comedy.
The Worst:
All the vacations past the Hollywood trip.
Family Affair
The Best:
Seeing Bill Davis and Mr. French grow as "parents" and their love for the children.
All the great comical, yet dramatic storylines.
The Worst:
The producers trying to keep Jodie and Buffy little kids throughout the whole run.
Sliders
The Best:
The wonderful chemistry between the cast.
The Worst:
The manner in which the characters exited the show.

GOOD TIMES:
GOOD: Great emsemble cast, great plots, and great theme song
LOWS: Focusing the show too much on J.J. and his antics in later seasons
HUNTER:
GOOD: Fred Dryer and Stepfanie Kramer's excellent job in keeping the show together for 6 solid seasons...until...
LOWS: Stepfanie Kramer left and they replaced her w/ the lady that played Molenski (eventually killed off) and Novak (who I liked far better than Molenski). Also, the 1st season looked a lot like a cracked out version of The A-Team, especially evident in the fact that the bad guys' cars were taken from The A-Team, in that both shows were done by Stephen J. Cannell.

hangin' with mr cooper-
(best) the first few seasons with mark, vanessa and robin and mark and vanessa's romance later on in the show
(worst) robin leaving and replaced by geneva and her daughter nicole- not that i disliked them, rather it was from a show's point of view a bad decision, having un resolved ending in the series finale
caroline in the city-
(best) the first season was great, the second was just as good, the third was very good, caroline and richard- love that couple to bits
(worst) most of the last season; the introduction of the office, getting rid of remos, lack of affection between caroline and richard, the arrival of randy and worse of all an unresolved last episode, which was awful
ugly betty-
(best) the comical partnership of marc and amanda is just pure gold, having a character like betty as the main protagonist
(worst)- the writers treatment of henry, which led me to like gio more as a person
fresh prince-
(best) having carlton as the geek of the show; he's just hilarious thanks to alfonso ribeiro, funny in the earlier seasons
(worst) baby nicky, axing the first vivian, janet and getting a replacement in daphne, became a bit too serious in the latter seasons

"THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES"-best-the first 3 seasons (just about the entire series, but mostly those)
worst-a couple of those storys in the later seasons, like all that stupid "womens lib" stuff, and those shows with that guy Mark Templeton, or whatever his name was.

"The Wonder Years":
Best: the cast and their chemistry
Worst: ending it without wrapping up loose ends (the kids had one year of high school left, and graduation would have made for a good finale); those new characters the gang met in high school
"Home Improvement":
Best: the cast
Worst: In a word, WILSON!
"Step By Step":
Best: Angela Watson! :eyes:
Worst: Goodbye Cody, hello Lily!
"Perfect Strangers":
Best: the cast
Worst: having Larry and Balki marry their girlfriends so fast
Chocoholic
08-13-2008, 11:27 AM
MASH
Best: the writing, characters, and chemistry among the cast
Worst: replacing Trapper with BJ, turing into the Alan Alda show, becoming more of a drama
Wings
Best: great writing, likable characters, good chemistry
Worst: marrying Joe and Helen, never getting Antonio and Casey together as a couple
The Simpsons
Best: everything!
Worst: making Homer more of an idiot

Melrose Place:
Best: Great characters, great drama, hot guys, great plots, great cliffhangers and the fact that they were able to make it even better then 90210.
Worst: The idea of always having the good guys lose, too many deaths, bitchy characters that deserve to be punched in the face, complete cast change... and Lisa Rinna!

Sabrina, the Teenage Witch
Good: The Aunts, Sabrina/Harvey, Salem, both Jenny and Valerie were okay, the finale, that jerk Brad. lol That one weird guy at the magazine...I can't remember his name. lol
Sucked, but livable: Morgan, Sabrina/Josh, Dreama
Bad: Getting rid of Mr. Pool, Sabrina/Aaron, Sabrina/that other dude who was so insignificant that I can't even remember is name, NO HARVEY, Harvey/Morgan, that ugly house that Sabrina lived in with Roxie, Morgan, and Miles, Season 5 and 6...., that horrible job at Scortch or whatever it was called.

Are You Being Served?
The Best:
The great comedy and the chemistry of the cast.
It's got a lot of politically incorrect humor.
The Worst:
Except for Mr. Tebbs, whenever a character left, there was no explanation. Mr. Lucas was on the show for the first seven series, and when he was gone, there was no mention of him. He was my favorite character.
Also, the politically incorrect humor was good on one hand, but as a result, I can't recommend this show to just anyone. Some people get highly offended easily.
Wings
The Best:
The writing and acting.
The chemistry of the cast. You really believe that Joe and Brian are brothers.
The Worst:
When Lowell left, he wasn't given a proper replacement. And the guy that did technically take over for him was almost just like him and gone by the end of the season.

In your opinion, what category would you put Libby under?
Good. She wasn't nice, but she certainly wasn't boring and she was a good foil for Sabrina. Season 4 lacked that friction.

The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries
BEST: The cast, the chemistry between Parker Stevenson and Shaun Cassidy. The chemistry between Pamela Sue Martin, Jean Rasey, George O'Hanlon Jr, and William Schallert.
WORST: Replacing Jean Rasey with Susan Buckner, replacing Pamela Sue Martin with Janet Julian, and making the Nancy character just a guest star later in Season 2 that always had to be rescued. Not only replacing George O'Hanlon Jr with Rick Springfield, but reintroducing the character as if Hanlon's version never existed.
The Waltons
BEST: The writing, the cast, the characters.
WORST: Richard Thomas leaving, bringing in Robert Wightman to play John-Boy. The absence of Ralph Waite and Michael Learned in the later seasons.
Happy Days
BEST: The cast, the characters, the writing in the first couple of seasons.
WORST: Ron Howard and Donny Most leaving, making Fonzie a teacher, the new Arnold's.
Lost in Space
BEST: The chemistry between Will, Dr Smith, and the Robot, the humor.
WORST: Granted the show was always silly, but the final seasons the episodes were just getting idiotic- 'The Great Vegetable Rebellion', a giant talking carrot, Dr Smith turning into a stalk of celery...ugh.
Buck Rogers
BEST: The characters, the villains, Erin Gray in that uniform
WORST: Changing the shows location from Earth to the ship in the later season, that robot Crichton.
Battlestar Galactica(the original)
BEST: The writing, the characters, the cast, the effects
WORST: Cancelling the series and bringing on Galactica 1980
Laverne and Shirley
BEST: The cast, characters, chemistry between Penny Marshall and Cindy Williams
WORST: Moving to California, Cindy Williams leaving the show

The Fresh Prince
Best - First 3 seasons
Worst - Axeing the first aunt Viv, baby Nicky, Will's mom marrying Lisa's Dad, they should of done an episode of the aftermath of the event but it was never metioned again.
Family Guy
Best - Early episodes, funny quotes, characters like Peter, Brain Stewie etc and killed off the two guys on the piano
Worst - Herbert and when Peter falls over he gots "Arrrrggghh" for 30 secs
Big C

Step By Step
Best: Karen (sigh), Cody and J.T.
Worst: Believe it or not, I'm not going to say Jean-Luc. Rather, I'll go with Lily, at least when she looked older, not when she was REALLY small and young
Sabrina, the Teenage Witch
Best- The second and third seasons
Worst- Getting rid of the Quizmaster, Mr. Kraft, Libby AND Valerie; Jenny from season one (Valerie was MUCH more interesting and was used better in plots)
Melrose Place
Best- Good plots and hot babes
Worst- Letting Alyssa Milano get away; the characters in season one that didn't last into the later year

Home inrpvment
Best: when tim glued his head to the table, when brad and radey tell mark their aliens.
worstL; when mark got older. he became werid. he start wearing black.
Boy meets world:
Best: the second seaons when he strating to like topanga.
Worst; when mr feeny went every were they went. he even went to the same collage. i also didn't like it after they got married.

SILVER SPOONS
GOOD: IMO, the stories seemed better from Seasons 3-5.
BAD: They removed the arcades and/or the train set and the automatic doors a few eps. into S4 and the 2nd updated theme song.
HILL STREET BLUES
GOOD: This was one of the few cop shows to pick up where the last episode left off at in the first 4 seasons or so. Great characters and great theme song.
BAD: When Michael Conrad (Sgt. Esterhaus) died, the stories sometimes seemed soap-opera-like at times and most eps. ended w/ Furillo and Davenport's relationship too much.

Actually, I think that's one of the best.
Three's Company

Worst: Janet's whirlwind romance with Phillip
M*A*S*H
Best: The writing, characters, pretty much everything.
Worst: McLean Stevenson and Wayne Rogers leaving the show and casting Mike Ferrell, bleh!
Night Court
Best: Dan Fielding, enough said! ;)
Worst: Toward the end where Dan kind of goes crazy.

Happy Days: Best-the first three seasons.
Worst-when they brought in Chachi and made it the Fonzie show.
Soldier Of Fortune inc/Special Operations Force: Best-the first season.
Worst-the second season when they replaced Andrews and Shepard with a wise cracking NYC undercover specialist and Dennis Rodman thus the show went from being an intelligent version of the A-Team to being a joke.
Firefly: Best-a good cast, well written, well acted, and good stories. Worst-canceled too soon should have brought this show back instead of Family Guy.
