This was a failed sitcom on ABC that starred Bonnie Hunt. It was about how a mom juggles between being a parent and being a talk show host. It lasted for 2 seasons from 2002-2004.
At the time it was on I only watched the episodes that featured celebrity guest stars such as Robin Williams and Tom Hanks.

I absolutely do remember the show. I am lucky enough to have 2 VHS tapes of the show that I watch frequently. I wish I had more episodes!
It's a real shame ABC canceled this show. Bonnie was nominated for a Golden Globe and Emmy for this!
I really hope the DVDs get put out... but that is HIGHLY unlikely!

Yes, I do remember "Life With Bonnie" and I miss this show.
"Life With Bonnie" was funny whether Bonnie was at home or on her talk show set.. It really deserved to be renewed.

I remember it and enjoyed it.
I've seen several episodes of her talk show that's on now too and next to Ellen, I like hers 2nd best - over Oprah. She's like Ellen with that easy going way she has about her and her sense of humour.
She seems like she's very unaffected and the type of person you could easily strike up a friendship with.

I have indeed seen this show, in fact, I have it all on DVD. This show is brilliantly funny, and the fact the most of the show is improv makes it that much more entertaining. I am a HUGE Bonnie Hunt fan (my hometown Chicago girl!) and loved this and 'The Bonnie Hunt Show' the SITCOM (CBS in the early 1990s) and really like her new talk show too.

It really bothered me when Samantha just disappeared without any explanation. But other than that I liked this show. The Jonathon Winters episode was classic! And there was a character named Marv!!!! Yeah!! Finally someone on TV with the same name as me!!

Yes, Bonnie Hunt does seem like a cool lady. I never watched LWB, but I remember reading about it when it was on. Didn't Mark Derwin leave OLTL to co-star on this show?

The way I remember it they originally hired another actor to play Bonnie's husband on this show. It turned out there was no chemistry between these two. So they brought in Mark Derwin who had worked with Bonnie previously on "The Bonnie Hunt Show" (95-96 Sitcom) .

Count me in as one of those who remembers watching a few episodes of "Life With Bonnie" (despite the fact that ABC was starting a downhill point in the fall of 2002), and another noteworthy fact about this show is that after the first month of shows, all the writers were fired and Bonnie Hunt wrote all of the rest of the episodes herself. I think she's a very talented lady.

Just FYI -- David Allan Grier, who co-starred on the show, will be one of the celebrities on the next season of "Dancing With The Stars" -- which begins Monday, March 9 -- I'm looking forward to seeing him on and off the dance floor!!

Very cool!! I also liked him on the short-lived DAG.

I do? Of course, I do!!!!
The problem was, ABC forced Bonnie to fit into what was left of the "TGIF" lineup in her second season, on Fridays. She wasn't doing a "bland" family comedy (and she eliminated one of her "kids" to prove it, at the start of the season). Where else would you see Tom & Dick Smothers as guest stars in a situation comedy? Or Carl Reiner, for that matter? I admire her intention to shift most of the storyline to being involved in running a restaurant at the end of the last episode that season...even though the network cancelled the show before they could start "season three". It deserved more than two seasons....but that's when ABC lost interest in scheduling sitcoms, and just didn't know how to schedule them anymore. NOW, they're "smarter". In 2004...eh!
I'm sure Bonnie will move on to another fruitful project, as she did with her syndicated talk show. Just don't expect her to star in another filmed comedy....
