The ABSOLUTE, ONLY bright spot on 'Joannie Loves Chachi'. The ONLY one! Does anyone remember him in a made-4-TV flick either during or just after JLC that had him as an Olympic sprinter? Serious! Bingo WAS an Olympic sprinter in an early-80s made-4-TV movie! Can anyone out there back me up? Please. Oh, and did I say that,

Yes, I do remember that made-for-TV movie with Robert Pierce playing an Olympic sprinter; a Russian sprinter, that is. The movie was called, "The Golden Moment". This just goes to show the versatility in the man's acting. On 'Joannie Loves Chachi', he played pretty much a funnyman like Donny Most ('Ralph Mouth') did on 'Happy Days', and then he plays a Russian sprinter? Yes, there's more about this actor on his very own site (just type in 'Robert Pierce'). It even says that he did a show with Dabney Coleman. Checking out the 'Joannie Loves Chachi' site wouldn't hurt either. As for this 'Bingo Lives', however, I wouldn't say that. This is only because I don't see enough true-TV-fans out there familiar with him; plain and simple. But maybe one fine day, Robert Pierce will be rediscovered and put on some new sitcom and BINGO (no pun intended), he'll have a successful 21st century comeback! We will just have to see.
