Lauren is a valued member of of SO and has been going through a diffficult period in her life. We've all gone through difficult periods and know how much better it makes us alll feel when we know others care. So let's cheer up Lauren. :)

Lauren, I've only know you a short while, but you have been a great friend to me over the last six months or so. I know I am not the easiest person to like at times, so I appreciate your friendship. :)

A big ole bumpity bump for this thread for my dear friend Lauren. She's one of the sweetest, kindest, most thoughtful members at SO. She's always there to lend an ear to anyone in need. She's been going through some rough times as of late, with her dog Snuggles being terminally ill, her own medical issues, family, etc. Let's give it up for LuLu! She's a class act, and I'm honored that she's my friend. Her HS senior picture is on my fridge. Just thought I'd throw that in. :)

Lauren's the greatest. I don't know how often she's made me smile and laugh. I think about her every single day and this world wouldn't be nearly as bright without her.

I'm praying for a miracle for Snuggles and that Lauren's health issues will soon be history.

yes, Lauren is a very nice, sweet, kind peraon. Even though she's 30 years younger than me, I love her and am proud to call her my dear, dear, friend. (even though we haven't talked by P.M. in a while; and never by e-mail). Lauren sweetie, if you see this, I wish you all the best and I pray that you won't have to deal with your health issues for much longer. The man who winds up with you will be very, very, very, lucky!!!!

I am kind of in the same boat as Brittany here... and I really don't know you all that well. But after reading this thread through, I think you sound like a swell gal who has been through some tough times, but has managed to remain a strong, kind, and generous woman. I hope that I can get to know you better in the future. But I must say, truly good people seem pretty hard to come by these days... so I think that it is wonderful to celebrate the people that mean a lot to us... and I do "appreciate" you, as well!;)
Also, congrats on becoming a moderator... I'm sure you will do a fabulous job on the M*A*S*H forum! I'll be keeping an eye out for you.:D
