I think I've spoken too soon and maybe I've jinxed us. we thought our loan was a done deal and it was clear sailing. we were waiting all last week to for the call to tell us the closing date. then they callled today and said they needed my husbands pay stubs which we didn't have because he hadn't been working since april and just started working again last week. my husband told the agent this and she said his annual income might not be enough to get the loan now!!! we have to fax his first pay stub when he gets it this week and his unemployment stubs from when he collected but it looks as if everythings going down the toilet. what makes me really mad though is this lady we talked to said she tried to call us all last week but our voicemail box was full, um...we don't even have voicemail!!!!!we were so happy this past week, maybe we just got our hopes up. maybe we were kidding ourselves!! :(

Hey gang, things aren't looking good. we faxed what they wanted thurs the w-2 forms 2006 and 2007 so they could do an average of my husbands annual income and his recent pay stub which didn't reflect his true pay as it was $7.00 per hour TRAINING pay instead of the $11 he makes per hour after training. he also gets a pension and social security from his late wife. they said we had to have the closing before monday yet we haven't heard from them at all today. i feel like crying.

You are never far from my thoughts. I continue to keep your family in my prayers. It is easy to say that things will get better, but when it is happening to you, it is not so easy. We all have had personal battles and dealt with a lot of scary things. I hope it goes well for your family, I really do. I can't imagine what it must be like for you at this time. I only wish I could be there to help ease your fears.

JUST AN UPDATE: It's official we did not get the loan. However with the Fannie May and Freddie Mac bill that just passed in congress, we hope to try again in a few months after it goes into effect although i can't say we're not disappointed. Then to top it off we got a call at 4am that my mother in law was rushed by ambulance to the hospital. she has a blockage in her lower intestine and needs emergency surgery. she might have to use a colostomy bag for the rest of her life.

I am feeling for you sweetie. I have some family issue going on right now myself. You are not alone and I am sorry for the loan not going through. It is a tough situation for many families. I pray God gives you the strength to get through this. One day at a time. ;)
