Hey Pav,

Was wondering what happened to the July 1 Blog announcement of a George Carlin Tribute Special scheduled on AmericanLife Cable at 8PM eastern on July 7 featuring footage from his appearances from the third season of the "Tony Orlando & Dawn" series. Nothing at 7PM, I checked just in case...it is now 8PM eastern...just regular programming.....was wondering if you could look into whenever....thanks....

Here's the answer......Although Goodlife still has the rights to "Tony Orlando", the estate of George Carlin did not give permission, so the special had to be scrapped.

Here is what I found out: Unfortunately, their was a last minute issue with program rights. They are still trying.
