Okay, so I know I'm a total dork because I just discovered this, but you have to understand, my cable company just got converted to Comcast in January, so I'm still exploring. Plus, I never had enough time off from school to watch as much.
But On Demand is about the best thing ever!! You can watch shows like The Facts of Life, which I haven't seen in years (aside from my season 1 and 2 DVDs) whenever you want!!! :D Best of all, most of the shows/movies/songs are FREE!! :D
We just have to pay for the Bollywood stuff LOL!! :p
So if anyone has Comcast as a cable company, it's worth checking out if it's included in your cable package!!
I think I remember pav talking about this back last summer, but I was kind of upset about having to swich to Comcast after having Time Warner for years, but not anymore!!! :D
See, this is how classic TV should be, available at all times to watch for free!!! Or at least how I see it! ;) So for those screwy networks that won't play our favorite shows and choose to move to reality, well seeya!!

One thing: This is just too good to be true, so I've been hunting on Comcast's website, but I can't find anything that says it costs anything, but I'm still not so sure...anyone know if it really is just a trial thing and are there strings attatched? I also noticed that they go by seasons, FOL was on season 4, as was The Office. Do they follow a particular schedule? I'm guessing for The Office it's just going to show the past season, but for FOL?

Thanks!!! :D

They add a new episode each week and they do go in order. I think 5-6 episodes stay at a time, and they are on season four right now for The Facts of Life. If you have digital cable and some subscriptions or something, you'll have this service for free.

Current shows are: Facts of Life, One Day at a Time, Silver Spoons, Who's the Boss?, Party of Five, Fantasy Island, The Monkees, Bewitched and I Dream of Jeannie

Thanks so much!!! :)
I really hope they keep FOL on for a long time!!! One of the past news stories says it was pulled.

Yeah, some shows get pulled and come back, it is very strange. Diff'rent Strokes, Maude, Soap and What's Happening!! were some shows that they used to have.

The thing that bothers me is there's not a list of the new shows and apparently no schedule either. Sometimes I check On Demand and there are a bunch of new things to watch. Other times it seems like there's nothing. And like pavenbadel said, they seem to come and go randomly. But hey, I still love it (and yes, it's free unless it shows a price at the top).

It is the next best thing to having the DVDs! :) I am hoping that this will help DVD sales for FOL and such!! :)
Hey, Lodee, I really like your avatar! What is Besilu if you don't mind my asking? Is that a play on Desilu?

Thanks. I saw it when I was in Florida. This guy had it in his yard. He's Cuban and it's a combination of his and his wife's name. Original, huh?

I discovered Tube Time by accident, just going through the screens and came across it too. I've been watching Fantasy Island, Silver Spoons and Facts of Life. It's really cool...:D

It says that you have to subscribe to something in order to see the eps. When we first got digital last October, it wasn't that way. What should I subscribe to?

Kurt, what digital package do you have? Tube Time should be free if you have digital cable. Try calling Comcast.

Those people with Comcast are very lucky. I have Insight and there are NO classic shows On Demand, NONE. What a jip  I have 200 channels and there is usually nothing on any of them. The only reason I have digital is for TCM, History Internrational, The Science Channel, Discovery Times (or whatever it is called now). I sure wish they would add the Mystery Channel. They keep adding stupid crap like Green TV and Logo and a bunch of Mexican channels that are broadcast in spanish.
