I forgot how good this show was. A shame only 20 were made. Way better then any other "Revenge of the 80s" sitcom, with the exception of FoL http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

BTW, Silver Spoons has really aged horribly, I can't believe I ever watched this turd.

I liked SP too. It is tragic what happened to Slash tho. Everyone knows the Dana Plato tragedy, but what happened to that guy was just as tragic, and he was much younger when he died.

Dana Plato died of what is thought to be a suicide after a battle with drugs.

Oh that sucks about the Slash guy, I did'nt even know about that. But Dana Plato...don't even get me started on her...
Anyway on a lighter note, I thought Square Pegs was really good, almost like a pre- 'Freaks and Geeks' sitcom.
But how can you say Silver Spoons was'nt or is'nt good? That was probably the best of the whole week.

Slash died of AIDS in 1989, only 6 years after Square Pegs went off the air.

And for those who didn't know, Dana Plato passed away in May 1999 after a long battle with drugs.

How many of you recognized Muffy-er,Boots-er,Jami Gertz in Square Pegs as someone who made a handful of guest appearances on Facts of Life during the 1983-84 season.Actualy, she played a character very much like her Square Pegs character.

Jami Gertz played a grown-up version of Boots/Muffy on Ally McBeal for a few episodes this past season.

A lot of the people that appeared in Square Pegs also appeared in the 'Facts'...let's see
the guy Sarah Jessica Parker liked in the first episode of the night was also in 'The Academy' as the guy who shot his foot.
And the snobby girl's boyfriend also played Jacen in 'Best Sister Part 1 and 2' episode.
