Bullethead - Really a bullet?

In the first season, Bullethead explains to Steve that he really does have a bullet in his head, but doesn't explain why. Does he ever explain?

I probably would have to see that ep again it's been so long I don't even remember off the top of my head. I think ROMEO gave the reason why he had a bullet in his head but can't remember it

Thanks Solomon. I have a vague recollection of Bullethead explaining it on the first or second episode, his first appearance. I could be wrong though. I didn't pay attention because I didn't care at the time.
