British designer and punk fashion pioneer Vivienne Westwood says she found the Sex And The City film "quite dull", despite one of her creations being featured prominently.
Westwood made the wedding dress worn by Sarah Jessica Parker's character Carrie in the movie and was name checked in a most excited manner by the bride. However, despite the publicity she'll receive from the box office hit, the designer was less than impressed.
"I thought Sex And The City was supposed to be about cutting-edge fashion," she said, "And there was nothing remotely memorable or interesting about what I saw."
No doubt the film's stylist Patricia Field will think twice about using Westwood's creations if there's to be a sequel, especially as Westwood couldn't bring herself to sit through the two-and-a-half hour movie.
"I went to the premiere and left after ten minutes," she said.
