I know that I have already written about the episode that I am about to mention, but a recent event has caused me to think about it again and I would thus like to share it with other fans again. The episode that I am referring to is called "Someone Old, Someplace New, Something Borrowed, Someone's Due." By the way, this episode went on for two half-hour periods with a week in between. In any event, the moral of this two-part episode was simple. Be careful what you wish for because you just might get it! Shows throughout history that have taught this lesson have ranged from the "Golden Girls" to Gilligan's Island". However, one show in which this theme was a "very" big mainstay was the "Flintstones"! It was taught in just about every other episode! In any event, after the writers of this show ran out of people on earth to teach this lesson, they brought in someone from another "galexy"! This character's name was the "Great Gazoo". He was sent to earth for the purpose of teaching Fred and Barney the difference between what they really want and what they think they want. Maybe if Will and Grace had watched more "Flintstones" when they were growing up, they would not have been so quick to bellyache about how small and overcrowded their apartment was! In any event, I read on the Internet that the man who voiced this character passed away at age eighty-one on May 29th. My Harvey Korman live in our memories forever!
