Hip-hop artist Bow Wow is used to throwing down rhymes, but on the next season of Entourage, he'll be reading lines. The artist, né Shad Moss, is joining the HBO show in the recurring role of Charlie, a stand-up comedian who becomes E's client, says the Reporter.
The turn toward acting is part of Bow Wow's hope to become the "next Will Smith." Along with his Entourage gig, Moss just scored a role in Patriots, the upcoming basketball drama set in post-Katrina Louisiana that stars Forest Whitaker and Isaiah Washington.
For fans of Mr. Wow's music, not to worry. He'll be back in the studio soon to work on his 7th album, H.I.M. (History in Making). Until then, we can wait and watch when he spices up life for Vince, E and their posse. — Anna Dimond
