ABC will have their upfront next Tuesday (May 13). So check back with us for the official schedule. The CW's preview is tomorrow.

I think you predicted the schedule pretty well. For now, I think ABC will leave Sunday nights alone. I honestly don't think Brothers and Sisters will be doing 10-12 million without DH as a lead-in. It's really hard to say, because ABC has so many shows available to air. They have the returning series, plus shows like Wife Swap and Supernanny that they can air but don't necessarily have to. Then they have sitcoms like Jim and Miss Guided that are filler shows as well. Plus all the new shows, its hard to say exactly what they'll do.

I would say Friday's will be TGIF if the CW doesn't do that.
I would say after College Football over Saturday Nights for NBA Basketball/MLB or Reailty/Game Shows.
Comedy Block also on Monday's to go up against CBS Comedy Block.
Drama Blocks the other days.

I think ABC should renew October Road! It is a great show with an awesome cast, exciting storylines, and great music! It is a breath of fresh air from Nanny and Wife swap!

I am exicted for ABC's 2008-2009 schedule and I hope we can add even more sitcoms to the list.

I like this schedule pretty well. I especially love The Bachelor being GONE! :D

I hope you're right about Miss/Guided coming back, besides Samantha Who? it's the only sitcom I care for on ABC.

I love Dirty Sexy Money after DH and B&S on Wednesdays.

Not sure about Captain Cook's though, it sounds expensive and I can't see ABC putting it on Fridays. I actually think it might air on Sundays at 8 with EM: HE moving(possibly AFV as well).

I hope WMC(which would be perfect for Fridays) and Eli get renewed, don't really care for BL.

I'm interested to see what they do with "Scrubs". I'd like to see it on Thursday nights at either 9 or 9:30 pm, just to make NBC squirm! They'll probably get better ratings, too!

I'm not too excited about Dirty Sexy Money being moved from Wed's to Sundays.

I would love to see Scrubs go up against NBC on Thursday. They should make like an all comedy night (Maybe another TGIF). I would try moving Ugly Bety out of the Thurs, 8pm slot, since it's been slipping this entire season. Maybe move it to Friday, paired with Scrubs and According to Jim, with 20/20 at 10pm.

This is my favorite time of year!

Here's my take for ABC:

Sundays
7:00pm America's Funniest Home Videos
8:00pm Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
9:00pm Desperate Housewives
10:00pm Grey's Anatomy

I think this setup was the best.

Mondays
8:00pm Dancing with the Stars
9:30pm Samantha Who?
10:00pm Life on Mars (NEW)

8-10 works so I say to just leave it alone.
Now Life on Mars seems like it could fit in for sure it's been done before with a man going back in time and solving crimes.

Tuesdays
8:00pm According to Jim
8:30pm Untitled Cedric the Entertain Project (NEW)
9:00pm Miss Guided
9:30pm My Brother's Hot (And Other Dilemmas) (NEW)
10:00pm Brothers and Sisters

I think a night about families is a good thing and ABC should follow this idea. Then when According to Jim ends it can be replace with Scrubs.

Wednesdays
8:00pm Pushing Daisies
9:00pm Private Practice
10:00pm Boston Legal

A night about people and what happens at their work place is a good setup.

Thursdays
8:00pm Dancing with the Stars: Results Show
9:00pm Ugly Betty
10:00pm Dirty Sexy Money

Fridays
8:00pm Captain Cook's Extraordinary Atlas (NEW)
9:00pm Lost
10:00pm Eli Stone

A sci fi night is something that can be done to. ABC needs theme nights.

Saturdays
8:00pm Cupid (NEW)
9:00pm Supernanny
10:00pm Wifeswap

I think Saturday should be a night with new episodes again.

What does everyone think?

The only new show to air this fall on ABC will probably be Life on Mars and that's because it's the only completed pilot. It is unrealistic to have this many new show on the fall sked. At most ABC will have one or two new hours and everything else will be returning shows. We should actually be putting together a mid-season sked.

As long as Pushing Daisies is returning, I am a happy man. That was the best new show of the Fall season, IMO.

I'm usually excited about hearing the news from the upfronts but I'm not this year, Very few new shows are being picked up. It just feels ho hum this year.
