i've been boycotting TVLand ever since I heard they picked up Just Shoot Me. If I want to watch a show on there, I won't. Just pray the DVDs come out.

Yeah, the closing scene on every "Wings" episode gets interrupted by them pimping the "Big 4-0" or this other new "reality" show about modeling which apparently will be coming up next on the horizon:mad: Can't we even have a "buffer zone" or a time for the healing process BEFORE we are subjected to yet another "reality" series to immediately surface? TV Land was once my only salvation to escape to the "PAST" {when television programming was outstanding}. I had an option to enjoy that fine viewing they once presented even if it was reruns! And isn't that the mode {reruns} of programming "nostalgia" networks are supposed to air for the viewing pleasure of those of us who wish to once again have the opportunity to recapture and revisit that period in our life while appreciating the wonderful programming that existed in past decades when television viewing WAS.....well, television?:crying: Very sad and disappointing to see that TV Land has "caved" to Reality TV. But what sickens me is that even though it's audience of once loyal long time viewers have suddenly been moved to the back burner as a result of this contagious "reality" television virus, they still try to "pacify" us by presenting LESS air time of the programs we enjoyed watching in hope that it will continue to string us along and maintain our following. Well, I can see that not ALL of us are that stupid! TV Land, although their ratings have apparently soared from this "reality" programming {or at least that's what I have previously read on this site, i.e., "High School Reunion"}, it's just my perception, but from reading the many complaints and displeasure from participants just on this site alone of the decision by TV Land to drink the "reality" coolade tells me that just maybe, they have not been as successful with their "pacifying" tactics as they projected they would be. I guess we will learn in time whether or not this "reality" programming will be accepted by the MAJORITY of TV Land's once faithful viewers. TV Land....you are starting to be perceived as either a "reality" based programming channel or that of "nostalgia!" WHICH is it and WHICH will it end up being?
