A couple of weeks ago we got an article by critic Tim Goodman, who compared CBS to NBC sitcoms. See here :

Well, the results are in, and viewers vote overwhelming CBS as the better sitcoms. Look at this week's ratings from the sitcoms, and you can clearly see which sitcoms are more popular. Here are the ratings for this week :

One thing I've never understood is how some people get so hung up on a network, and get downright defensive about it, and the shows on it. I read Marc Berman's message boards, and I'm falling off my chair sometimes, laughing at some of these lunatics kneeling at the altar of ABC, FOX, NBC, etc. They'll defend the bombs simply because they air on their beloved network. I love HBO, and have had it for 30 years now. If someone says they hate HBO and love Showtime, I honestly couldn't care less.

Half the time I don't even know what network a show I like is on, lol. Shark, CBS, but I had to think about it. I go by the number on my TV, lol. Lost is on Channel 5, that's good enough for me. That article is a perfect example of what I mean.

That's an interesting article, Superbowl. CBS does have a good offering of comedy on Monday nights. I don't watch it faithfully, but if I happen to catch it, I'm gonna laugh. There's no doubt about that. Like Janice, I don't care what network a show is on, and I don't get the network snobbery discussed in the article. It does exist, that's for sure. Big Bang Theory is a good show, yet I'd like it if it was on PBS. I have to admit that I wish, Back To You, was on CBS. The show would fit in nicely on the Tiffany network. Berman's site kills me up too with a few ABC and CBS fans. One ABC disciple in particular cracks me up. The weirdo needs a straitjacket. LOL.
