View Full Version : Elaine's not a typical sexually active woman

I mean that in a t.v. sense. It seems when a woman is as sexually active or at least boy crazy in a t.v show, they dress all skank. The refreshing part of Elaine is she covers herself up and she's confident enough in her love/sex life that she doesn't have to show off her body. That's one of the reasons why I think Elaine was one of the most kick-ass female characters in the history of television.

I see your point, she was a smart woman who wasn't your typical single sitcom character.

But you have to admit, she arguably had the most boyfriends of any female character on TV.

Elaine had her skanky moments too, but they were camaflouged by the humor. She never dressed like a "skank", but she certainly acted like one a few times. lol

My 11th grade English teacher once said that Elaine should've just worn a "Public Utility" sign around her neck.

I agree she did have her moments, like cleaning out the upper west side of sponges. One of my favorite moments was when she got sprayed with a hose although that was not really her fault.

"What is it about me that you find so repulsive?"
*sigh* "You seem to have been with a lot of men."

LOL, Peggy the germphobe!!

She always wore really cute clothes and I loved her hair (especially in the first few seasons, when it was long and wavy.) I wanted my hair like that so badly. No wonder men were attracted to her.

You think many men would've been turned off once they saw Elaine do this?

A "dry heave set to music!?" Well, I don't think David Puddy was repulsed by it. He got back together with her enough times!

Did she ever sleep with Kevin (Bizarro Jerry)? I can't remember. Since he was such a nice guy, do you think she would've wound up with Gene, Feldman and/or Vargas??

I don't think so, but I'd gladly go back and watch it again to see!

^ The episode about the "man hands" was just on our local station tonight, and it's also where Elaine meets Gene, Feldman and Vargas. I love how Kevin's apartment was laid out just like Jerry's, only his apartment door was on the left, and everything else was in the exact opposite order as Jerry's.
