Most talented contestants?

I have heard MANY times since this season of Idol started, that they
think that this year's contestants are the best ever. I'm probably going
to have a LOT of people disagree with me, but I say, NO WAY! I haven't
heard anyone this year who can touch many of my favorite contestants, like
Melinda Dolittle, Clay Aiken, Ruben Studdard, Carrie Underwood, Kelly
Clarkson, Paris Bennett, Lisa Tucker, just to name a FEW. I'm a devoted
Idol fan, and I try to watch every episode, but I DO NOT think this year's
contestants are the best ever! Sorry!

i actually think this is one of the most talented seasons - it's MUCH better then the trainwreck that was Season 6.

this is the first year where i like EVERYONE. there seriously isn't one person left that i don't like. i can even tolerate Kristy. polar opposite of last season where i hated everyone but Jordin, lol.

the thing i like about this season is that everyone has their own unique style that they shine at. it reminds me of Season 5 (my favorite season) in that aspect.

I think that this season is actually the best season of idol ever, next to season 4, my absolute favorite. Everyone is so unique and talented...and might i say PERSONALITY, like OMG personality in everyone! I agree with Muppet Joe, I hated season 6 with a fiery passion. How many people had striking personalities in season 6? I think we saw the most personality in Sanjaya, and everyone hated him :lol:. But yeah, I love season 7 and I think the two most talented performers this season are David Archuleta and Carly Smithson. Seeing those two in the finale would be a dream come true for me!

David Arch has some amazing nicknames. Archie, Arch, D'Arch, Davidaaa...and they're all much easier then typing out DAVID ARCHULETA so i just rotate between them :)

This is my favorite season by far. I think the reason why I like this season is because everyone really sings great not just good but great and they all pick really good songs for there voices and songs that I like listening to. My favorite ep of this season by far was 80's week. I think everyone did really well especially David A, Brook, Carly, Michael and David. My favorite constants this year are Brook, David C. and Carly they really can sing but I really want either Brook or David to win because I feel that they both can really sing and both have unique sounding voices and are really genuinely nice people.
