Fourth Pirates of the Caribbean for 2011

The fourth "Pirates of the Caribbean" film is definitely happening, according to a scoopster for Aint it Cool News.

The best news? It ain't gonna be anything like the over-bloated snore-inducing "Dead Man's Chest" or "At World's End". More precisely, it'll "indications suggest the film's story would be far more contained than its predecessors, allowing for a budget-friendly downsizing. On the opposite end of the spectrum, there's been unsubstantiated talk that a fourth film would go the other way completely...think in terms of ultra fantastical (dinosaurs, Jules Verne-esque floating fortresses, etc.)''

Hm... this is certainly interesting. I thougth they would try to continue the saga... which, honestly, I'm not dissappointed about since I love the other three movies. But still, it'll be alot different now that Will's the captain of the Dutchman and everything.

why do they only quit franchises when it's intended to only be three parts (like LOTR)? This and Bourne both come to mind, pt. 3 was supposed to be the final chapter for both, but since they made money, they'll make another one

I just told my cousin who loves Johnny and Orlando and she's happy as a clam. lol. I personally don't care for them because, IMO, they're slow. But good news for the fans.

Wth? I thought they were great and loved the addition of Davy Jones etc. Made it seem all the more "pirate like."


Anyway...Woo hoo! Wish they'd make it sooner... like next year but it's something to look forward too.

I hope its like the first one. the first one is the best one. I did like dead mans cheast a lot too. is Johhny deep going to be jack sparrow? it wont be the same if they don't have him.
