I don't know if you've seen this yet, but here's a link I think you'll be interested in, it seems fairly new from the sound of it:

I'm glad they finally did something useful with that website. For the longest time (as far back as the honeymooners.net days) it was dead space.

Nice to see indeed! The last time I visited this link it was a bunch of pictures of things bought off of Ebay!

Nice upgrade! I enjoyed the clip from the American Scene Magazine. I hope that video clips are changed often as stated. Anyone planning to use the forum when it opens?

I may use it, though I have a feeling that this one will probably be more fun. Although if we do make enough noise there about shows we want to see, then maybe someone will pay attention!

Ben. You're thinking of this site.

From what I've read, they finally launched the site in honor of Jackie's birthday. It definitely looks promising...and hopefully the forum will be up soon like they say. The clip licensing section caught my attention right off the bat...I've already contacted them to try and see what sort of rare stuff is available.

I think if the forum is any good, and some of us here who post also post on that forum - where we know someone close to the Jackie Gleason Estate will actually read those (we hope!) - then we have a chance of some of this rare stuff coming out over the next few years.

My guess is whatever is listed on the filmography page is what they have available, minus the classic 39 shows. Although I did notice the "Step on the Gas" special was not listed. Was the Million-Dollar Innocent on there? I don't remember seeing that one, but I could have over-looked it.

Yeah, I have a feeling this website will definitely bring us a step closer to finally seeing all this rare material. Apparently Jackie's daughter is involved with the development of it as well. I've already heard back from one of the webmasters (a lot quicker than I ever heard back from MPI!), so hopefully I'll have some information to share soon...I'll keep you all posted!

I don't see "The Million Dollar Incident" on there either. I wonder who would have the rights to it if they don't?

We may also be able to forge a relationship with someone who has direct access to the archives and could answer questions to which we can only speculate the answers.

That person would be Craig Horwich, Jackie's stepson. I know his name is connected to Jackie Gleason Enterprises, but I don't know his position. He did produce "Jackie Gleason: Genius at Work". I believe he lives in Hollywood. At least he did several years ago when I spoke to him. I searched his name and came up with this interesting page that someone named Jim Davidson put together. He credits Chris Rose for his help. Does anyone remember Chris. He was on the old board and he took the lead contacting the guy at MPI about all the stuff that's still missing.

This is Craig's page on imdb. You may have seen him in his bit part in Smokey and the Bandit III and his mom, Marilyn Taylor Gleason.

I contacted Jim a while back because I noticed our lists were very similar. He seems to know his stuff, I actually linked him to this board, but he didn't seem interested. What ever happened to Chris Rose BTW? I think he's the one responsible for the HM episode guide on TV.com.

I knew that I should have posted something about this website the other day, when I was first told about it, but I assumed you guys already had talked about it on here. One of my fellow Racoons on Myspace sent me an email telling me that the website was being advertised in a Newspaper up in the New York area on Jackie's Birthday. I've never been to it before I was made aware of it, and like Bill said, I think that this is our first real connection to get some of these never seen before Jackie clips from some of his old-time work. I think they've done a really good job with it, and it looks like Jackie's family is in on it since it's registered owner is Jackie Gleason Enterprises, LLC. Glad to see that his memory is seriously being put into the public eye in this day and age through the Internet. He deserves it, and a lot more.

Chris Rose is still around. I emailed him a few months ago. I just don't think he frequents the boards.
