I love Carlos Mencia and Dinosaurs. I subscribe to Maxim but sometimes they don't hit the mark. Crazy Maxim.

I'm sorry but 24, Walker Texas Ranger and Dinosaurs were all great shows.

24 is a little too sensational and over the top, I can see the disdain for it. That show has gone through more presidential assassinations than the past century has.

Growing Up Gotti was ridiculous. They're way off the mark on 24. That show is a classic and has an almost cult following. It's not realistic, but neither is Lost or most other shows. I think only one President was assassinated. My husband would know, as he's never missed a single episode. I gave it a couple of seasons, as it wasn't my type of show. However, I can see how people who like that type of show would love it. Walker Texas Ranger was a good show too.

I thought two presidents were assassinated on that show. If 24 was real life, who the hell would run for president? You have better chance surviving on American Idol

SBTB wasnt exactly a classic but, it was somewhat better than Full House or Unhappily ever after, neither of which made the list.......not to mention My Mother the Car

I disagree with SBTB and Dinosaurs making the list. I'm not a big fan of Walker Texas Ranger, but I don't see what was so bad about it.

Perhaps this list is much better...Cracked.com lists the 13 worst tv shows ever:

You have to fix the link Irene. :)
I found it though and they're not as good. I love Bosom Buddies, Fall Guy, B.J. and the Bear, and the GAH. Critics ....I think they're all idiots.

Ok, so the thing some people need to realize (these Maxim people anyway) is that a show like 24 is FICTION and on TV. And it's not on the history channel here. Since it's fiction, it can make all the sense in the world, or none at all. As long as it's entertaining. Gee...how many fictional shows in the history of TV have been totally unrealistic despite passing itself off as in the realm of reality (this does not include scifi/fantasy shows)?? Gosh....that never happens.

Oh now c'mon....Automan rocked.
And yes I'm being serious. Cheesy as hell, but I still liked it.

So I'm reading comments on that Cracked article. What was this show?
Or that show where the woman was in love with a male mannequin who turns into a real man at night?

How did Deal or No Deal get on the air.....to bring back Howie Mandel's dying career? Anything but that twerp.....
Bobby's World was much better than that Wheel of Fortune rip-off.
Just curious, did Baywatch make the list?
Probably not. That show had hot girls, boobs, and hot girls with boobs.

I loved DoND before it became a caricature of itself. Now there's just too much insanity.

i was dissapointed when american gladiators and baywatch weren't on that list. those shows were totally dumb. dinosaurs wasn't bad, walker texas ranger i haven' t seen but i've heard good things about that show from fans. i never liked saved by the bell and yet it didnt deserve to be on there. glad that deal or no deal is on there- i just cannot get my head round the show's formula myself. having seen a uk version of the show. 24 isn't dumb by any stretch of the imagination

Deal or No Deal has those hot babes on there to help with the show. ;) I mean, they seem to get more attention than anything else on that show.

From the episodes I've seen, I actually think the UK version is much better than ours. The gimmicks and unneccessary things to create tension and drama are nowhere to be found. The attention is on the game, as it should be. The game itself creates enough emotion. Here they spend too much time trying to top the outrageous and bizarre thing they did on the last episode and find the most stereotypical and annoying contestants imaginable. It's why I haven't seen a full episode in about a year and a half.

I remember one episode where they had male models. After they left I turned it off.

Maxim is a great magazine, however, they sometimes miss their mark on these lists. Being that it is a guy magazine, I find it hard they don't like Carlos Mencia at least. 24 is probably just "too advanced" for their tastes. If it doesn't have hot babes, then it goes on their crap list.

Three of those shows Maxim named, I'll agree w/:
"War at Home" - 1). Every episode was about smoking pot. 2). The father on this show out-crasses Archie Bunker. 3). It did not deserve to be aired along w/ "The Simpsons" and "Family Guy" in its first season. 4). This show was partly responsible for the less-inane "Arrested Development's" cancellation, thanks to the idiot programmers at FOX.
"MTV's Next" - One of the many strings of (as Anne Robinson would say on "The Weakest Link") pathetic, miserable, putrid, dismally $%^*-ty shows by the schmuck @$%-holes by Viacom and MTV. A bunch of fimps, er wanna be pimps ride a stupid bus for a half hour to meet some whiny, b*tchy chick that wouldn't get w/ 5 losers if their life depended on it and they earn cash or something like that for getting the girl to stay w/ them long enough before she realizes how much of a loser those guys really are.
Joey - I never cared for "Friends" from the get-go. Joey was already a nuisance on that show as it was. Give him his own show and he's a bigger pain-in-the-arse nuisance!

You just have to wonder how much boob jobs those models received in Deal or No Deal...;)

If they wanted to give Michael Rapaport something to do, don't give him a sitcom. Give him a movie role.....sitcom is so not him.

How did Greed and Cavemen not make the list? Dinosaurs and Saved by the Bell were classics. SBTB created the whole TNBC Saturday morning phenomenon. Dinosaurs was a marketing genius.

I thought about something here:
In one of their previous issues, they mentioned that they made a category for "Most Annoying Reality Show Contestant" and they said "All of Them" and the runners-up were mostly ones from "American Idol" and "The Apprentice," but yet surprisingly they didn't mention "American Idol" as being one of their Top 10 Dumbest TV Show Ever.
IMO, "American Idol" should of definitely have been in their Top 10 list. If I wanna hear people butcher up good songs w/ their horrible singing, there's a Karaoke Bar for that.

Well, maybe they were annoyed by certain contestants of the show, but overall, liked the show. Just like the show FRIENDS was a hit, but the Joey character was over the top annoying and like you said, a pain in the a$$.

As far as Joey goes... I thought the first... say, 12 episodes were alright. Then it started to go really downhill. I then switched over to Smallville when season 2 started, and during a rerun period I saw a few later episodes of it and I realized I wasn't missing much at all anymore.
