It always kind of annoyed me when there was a really great show but no catchy opening song and way of introducing the actors. Here's a couple off the top of my head:
Murphy Brown
Party of Five

In contrast, your three favorites DID have a catchy song and introduction... right?

Yes they did which is good, although I do love Part of Five

littlebelle, about Party of Five...
I already know about your admiration of Angela and Shannen, but who did you like the most from Party of Five?
I'd like to know who completes your personal trio.
I know about your love for Brenda and Karen, but who completes the trifecta?

I like a lot of people from Party-O-Five... Lacey Chabert, Neve Campbell and Scott Wolf.
My personal trio is completed by Shannen. She's the best.

I'm sorry I meant to say they didn't have one in the first 5 episodes. I love the theme song.

When I said complete, I meant which of your favorite Party of Five cast members do you rank up there with Shannen and Angela, thereby forming a complete trio?
Is it Lacey or Neve?

I disagree with you about Murphy Brown. Sometimes it had a theme, sometimes it didn't. WHenever they found a good Motown song to along with the episode, they added it in (every episode had a theme in the first 2 seasons). It just goes to show you that not every great show needed a theme song.

Seems like whenever I watched it there was no theme at all

BMW did have one in the beginning, but for some reason it's not shown in syndication

Yeah, Boy Meets World really only had a theme in season 1, because it was longer then 10 seconds, and actually credited the cast's names. Season 2 had a very brief intro with the shows name and an animated Cory next to a globe. Season 3 also had a brief intro showing a few clips of the characters. Season 4 had a sort of long song, but nobody was credited, it just showed clips of the gang in a car, with clips from past episodes playing behind them. Then the last 3 seasons had a intro with lyrics showing the gang fooling around outside the apartment, but it still didn't credit anybody.
Anyway, Step by Step didn't have any theme song in season 6, which I didn't like. I'm glad they brought it back for it's last season. Same with Family Matters, it got rid of it's theme in season 7, but it never came back. Most shows now a days don't credit cast, and have very brief intros.

Yeah that was weird. I wonder if they were trying to think of a good opening so in the mean time they just showed the actor's names in the beginning scene.
