Are there any shows that you watched during its first run but for whatever reason, you can't get into again? Is there a show you can watch maybe once in a great while? Here are mine:
FRESH PRINCE -no brainer there...
FAMILY MATTERS - I can watch maybe five minutes of an episode, but that's it. It is not the same as it was during its first run.
MAMA'S FAMILY - There is only one episode I look forward to watching, but that's it for me.
HOME IMPROVEMENT - It was a great show to watch back then, but now, I can't even sit through a whole episode. Maybe if there was nothing at all to watch, I might watch it.
I know there is more...

Seinfeld... I lost interest in it not too long after it ended on NBC... maybe I'll gain some interest in it again someday

Man, so many that I'll probably miss a few .... (I will stick to sitcoms only)
The Jeffersons- Stopped watching before the show ended, no interest in watching again
Bewitched- Seen it too often, might watch the Dick York shows again, but never the Sargent years
Gilligan's Island, Brady Bunch, Partridge family, Beverly Hillbillies, Green Acres, Pettitcoat Junction, Andy Griffith, Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley - I've simply outgrown them all
Sanford & Son, Chico & the Man- the whole "Cranky old man bitching thing"
got old
Welcome back Kotter- show is totally dated
Good Times, Sanford & Son, Mama's Family, The Golden Girls, & probably a few others. They were ok the first time around but I don't really want to watch them again.

I can't think of one show I watched in it's original run that I don't watch in syndication. I guess you can say step by step but that's only because it's on at 2pm

Pretty much all the sitcoms I watched in the 90, except Full House and Saved by the Bell. I watched those a lot in reruns. But Fresh Prince, Blossom, all those TGIF shows...
I would probably check out Blossom again if it ever surfaces.

Friends: The episodes are funny the first time around but do not have a lot of rewatchability for me.

I tried watching 227 when it was on but couldn't. I guess it has some episodes that are good, but overall, not rewatcheable.

I still have never seen the final episode of 227. Did they ever end that show right?

I watched most of that last season and then NBC pulled it and I never did catch it again and I was always a faithful watcher. I haven't seen many episodes in syndication either.

I was excited when TVland brought the show on its schedule but I only saw a handful of episodes before TVland yanked it off and moved it to once a week or some crazy ass schedule that made it impossible to watch. But by then, the episodes I had watched, only a few were memorable.

I know. I tried watching it when it was on TV One but I couldn't get into it. The theme song is still catchy though.
