Hollywood veteran Sylvester Stallone has hailed his fourth Rambo installment as the best movie he's ever made.

The 1980s action hero has once again blasted Rambo III, but insists he's revitalized the franchise with the movie he's most proud of making in his 40-year Hollywood career.

Stallone credits his improved work with going back to basics on the latest Rambo movie, blaming much of Rambo III's shortcomings on the extravagant action sequences.

He says, "Now I think, 'What a crock of crap that (Rambo III) was.' Most people like the first one, which was a lot simpler.

"So I learned from that and the new Rambo is more like that. This is the best movie I have ever done and it meant the most to me so far."

I haven't seen this movie but Rambo lll wasn't that bad. It sure was better then a lot of Stallone's movies of the past decade.

Steroids made his brain smaller and smaller. He is saying like it was the second coming of Christ himself....get over it, Stallone...

I heard he plans more Rocky and Rambo installments. I honestly don't understand why. "Rocky Balboa" was a perfect and fitting ending to the franchise and made up for the negative opinions people had for IV and V. Why can't they ever let movie franchises go out with dignity, instead of seeing more $ to be made? Plus, what more could they possibly have to tell with Rocky's story? He came back once more and held his own against an opponent half his age. He's not getting any younger.

Rambo III was a great comedy. Wait, you mean it wasn't supposed to be funny??

Rocky Balboa was better than I thought it would be. It was a decent film. Rocky works best when he's the underdog. He was back in his hometown, mourning Adrian and trying to get on with his life.

I'll reserve judgment on Rambo until I rent it.

According to Stallone's world, nothing suppose to be funny. In response, the joke is always on him and he still doesn't get it.

Sylvester has lost his damn mind saying that the latest Rambo is his best flick. Cobra, Rocky IV, Rambo First Blood part 2 are his best movies. I wish he would leave the Rocky and Rambo movies alone. He needs to work on new films and stop making sequels to those movies. He's too damn old. When is he gonna realize that?

You're only as old as you feel.

I think it's great he's feeling good about what he's doing in his later years. Better than dwelling on past accomplishments and hiding from society. More power to him.

Sylvester Stallone is set to revive another old character as he continues his career resurgence. After receiving favorable reviews for bringing back Rocky and Rambo, the action man is planning to revisit rock climber Gabe Walker from 1993 film Cliffhanger, according to reports.

Sony studio executives are in negotiations with Stallone to revive the character for "The Dam."

well, Cliffhanger was a pretty good film and it was probably his biggest movie of the 90's. Good to see him revisit another role besides Rocky or Rambo for once.
