My Men In My Life

Starring Allison Munn as the gorgeously petite 25-year-old happily married wife and mother of three young sons living in suburb of Chicago, Illinois. Denise Barekowski (Munn) and her good-looking husband of seven years, Joey Barekowski (Ryan Devlin) have three rambunctious boys: the 6-year-old Brody, the 4-year-old Alec, and the 2-year-old Mason. Brody and Alec have just started kindergarten and preschool, respectively. With the older two boys at school during day, Mason stays at home with Denise who has been a stay-at-home mom since Brody was born. But now, Denise sort of has feelings of guilt for wanting to work outside of the home, now that 2/3 boys are in school. Joey works one full time job and one part time job, to help his family make ends meet. Joey's part-time job is working at the extreme sports store at the mall, and his full-time job is co-owning his own coffee shop, "Mocha Joey's" downtown with his longtime best buddy, Sam Nolan (Bret Harrison), whom is a bachelor at heart. Denise has become close friends with the two stay-at-home moms at the kids' school, Marley Davies (Tricia O'Kelley) and Lindsay Dawson (Alex Kapp Horner), who are the president and vice president of the school's PTA, respectively. Watch how former high school sweethearts, Joey and Denise, handle everyday's trials and tribulations of living in their mid-twenties as parents of three rowdy boys.

Ep1: Pilot Episode:
As the premiere episode begins, Denise introduces us to her life and the people in it. Later on, Denise comes to terms with her guilt towards wanting to work outside of the home, after beginning to feel her life become more and more mundane and unfulfilling day after day--which causes her to becomes guilty. Meanwhile, Joey and Sam celebrate the first year anniversary of "Mocha Joey's".

Ep2: Shut Up And Kiss Me:
Denise feels her marriage to Joey is struggling to keep it's spark in the bedroom. Denise confides in Lindsay and Marley about her and Joey's dimenishing sex life, where she learns she is not the only one as Marley only has sex with her hubby once a week and Lindsay's hubby has lost his desire to be spontaneous after turning 40. Elsewhere, Sam is watching toddler Mason, and takes him to the park to play. While doing so, Sam meets a hot single mom, Brynn (Mandy Moore) who mistakes Sam for being Mason's dad, especially after Sam goes along with pretending to be Mason's dad.

Ep3: Polar Opposites:
As Sam experiences his new girlfriend, Brynn's (Mandy Moore) polar opposite personalities inside and outside of the bedroom, Joey becomes a little jealous after hearing all about Sam and the kinky Brynn. Joey decides to spice things up in the bedroom with Denise, who is shocked and welcomes her hubby's sexual intimacies with open arms. Meanwhile, Marley learns that her husband hasn't been completely faithful during their marriage, after Marley and her husband Jeff (Matthew Fox) become aware of Jeff's seven-year-old illegimate son with Jeff's former boss, Sheila (Justine Bateman).

Ep4: Welcome, Welcome:
Jeff and a now-bitter Marley welcome Jeff and Sheila's love child/illegimate son, Trevor into their family, but to only realize they have to explain how Trevor fits in with Jeff and Marley's two daughters (who are 10 and 11). Sheila informs the Davies that she and Trevor are moving back to town, after Sheila has been offered her old job back, but is no longer Jeff's boss--which doesn't settle well with a now fed-up Marley. Elsewhere, Denise's mother, Pam (Marilu Henner) shows up and pays her daughter, son-in-law, and grandsons a visit for the week. Joey becomes a little upset because Pam's surprise arrival has interrupted his secret romantic plans with Denise, but Joey learns Denise is ten times happier with her mom around (who helps out with the kids and housework, without any problems).

Ep5: Moral Support:
Denise and Lindsay become there for a stressed, harred Marley for moral support, but their female pow-wow gets interrupted when the trio bumps into Sheila while at the Mocha Joey's getting coffee (and having to introduce her friends to her hubby's former mistress/co-worker). Secretly, Joey gives in to Marley's secret and desperate request for him to pour some Baileys Irish Creme into her coffee to calm her nerves and anxieties. Meanwhile, Sam becomes paranoid that Brynn's baby's daddy is out to get him, after he walks in on Sam and Brynn during a hot-and-heavy session which leaves Brynn's big and tough-looking ex-boyfriend jealous and little angry. Out of fear of Brynn's ex, Sam breaks it off with her for good--thus causing Brynn to realize how much of a "wuss" Sam actually is.
