I went to a chinese restaurant with my mother and we ordered what we wanted for lunch which included a large wonton soup. The chinese lady asked us what we wanted to drink and mom told her we wouldn't be getting drinks that day (we had it to go and had plenty of soda at our house). She told us if we didn't get drinks we couldn't get soup!!! I **** you not!

Happy ending: We got our soup because we got drinks.

I title that my "Chinese Lady" episode.

When my husbandr and I were first dating we decided to see a movie with some friends of ours. He was out with another friend and told me to call him when we decided what we were going to see. My friend and I wanted to go see a romantic comedy with her boyfriend and my husband/then boyfriend. When I told my husband, he decided he didn't want to go (I know it was because of the movie title!), so I got stuck sitting in the theatre with all these couples and I could hear the women crying from the sentiment of the movie! I felt like George Costanza!

I once dated a guy who (without telling/asking me first) BROUGHT HIS MOTHER ALONG ON OUR DATE. It was so awkward and uncomfortable...and I avoided all his calls after that. Never again!!!!

True story: So I was trying to buy some condoms from this machine(wink wink) and after inserting the coins, what else happens, but they get STUCK! ARGGH! What did I do then? I yelled "CONDOMS!!!!" Just then some guy that was near by said "what's the deal?", and that instant I remembered Seinfeld and an the episode where George yells "TWIX!"

True story, I kid you not.

No, actually it was "Sleepless In Seattle" (and in all fairness he had already seen it; we went and saw it on our first date! But as for "The English Patient", I liked that movie about as much as Elaine did!

I've never seen The English Patient - but one of my friends did. He wrote on the board at Sunday School:

"THE ENGLISH PATIENT IS HORRIBLE!!!!"
