This is nothing new, but this shall teach everyone a lesson on plastic surgery. It really can make you look like a mummy within a day.

Jackson's lip 'bursts and collapses'

Michael Jackson has been forced to undergo emergency surgery after his lip burst and collapsed, according to reports.

The singer was photographed trying to conceal his bandaged and plastered face while on a shopping trip in Las Vegas, but now the reason has been confirmed.

His five-year-old son accidentally smacked him in the face, causing the problems with his upper lip, it has been revealed.

A source said: "He was whacked in the face accidentally by his younger son Prince Michael II while playing around and part of Jackson's upper lip collapsed.

"That mishap led an hysterical Jacko to make a beeline for the plastic surgeon for a bit of quickie repair work."

Jackson's spokesperson denied that he had undergone any surgery yesterday.

The Thriller hitmaker - who has undergone multiple cosmetic surgeries on his face in the past - was recently photographed in a Los Angeles bookstore wearing numerous bandages around his mouth.

You don't see Erin Moran, Scott Baio, Henry Wrinkler, Michael J. Fox, Jason Bateman, or Lisa Welchel resorting to plastic surgery or botox to make them 20 years younger than their actual ages. It is better to not use plastic surgery...but look at Mickey Rourke now...he has been botoxed to the max! For MJ, it is shame he couldn't reconsider that plastic surgery is not for everyone and does not make you look beautiful. It is the inside that counts. MJ was so blind to that assumption and tried to look like he could pass for 20 when in essence he is 49 years old. It is better to be yourself and be proud of who you are.

i'm glad you said mickey rourke- what has happened to him is nothing short of a tragedy and yes, i've seen his face and it looks nothing like what it was during the late 80s when he was huge and famous as a celebrity. MJ's fans would tell us lot to leave him alone- but as coffield rightly said, jacko did all this to himself. he let himself go. he has allowed himself to **** with his appearance and looks. and that's just not normal. you know what? people who do that have mental and emotional problems. they need councilling to sort themselves out.

i saw a documentry on tv called the 100 faces of michael jackson and it was a documentry on the state of jacko's face and it talked about the nose jobs he had, the whitening of his skin, things like that. it then had a computerised image which showed what jacko would've looked like today- had he not whitened his skin, had nose jobs etc and the image was that he would be black, was bald and had a few wrinkles on his face
