DOES ANYONE KNOW WHY STUDIO'S RELEASE VOLUME SET OVER FULL SEASONS

I NEVER UNDERSTOOD VOLUME SETS (I HATE VOLUMES SETS). I'M GLAD DALLAS ISN'T BEING RELEASED IN VOLUMES. THAT WOULD MEAN DALLAS HAS 13 SEASONS. AND BY THE PACE THAT THE STUDIO'S RELEASE TV SET (EVERY 6 MONTHS). IT WOULD TAKE 13 YEARS TO COMPLETE. IN VOLUMES IT WOULD TAKE A YEAR TO FINISH A SEASON SET.

I THINK THAT THE STUDIO'S PUT OUT VOLUMES SETS TO TEST THE WATERS OF SELLS. I DON'T KNOW

I JUST PREFER FULL SEASON SET

IF THE SEASON HAS LIKE 50 EPISODES. I WOULD UNDERSTAND VOLUME
BUT IF IT HAS LIKE 25-30 EPISODES IT SHOULD BE A SESON SET.

I've heard that they do this to make them more affordable. I don't like it either and would rather have the whole season too.

The Addams Family is in 3 volumes.

I like getting the SEASONS much better.

I dont mind if a show is divided if it only aired for 3 seasons or less. lost in space for example
I feel sorry for the Gunsmoke fans.
