(Dec. 10) - 'American Idol' fans may or may not want to stay away from IdolForums.com, where one user claims to know the names of the top 50 contestants for the seventh season.
A person under the name of "JoesPlace" posted names, ages, hometowns, MySpace pages and songs performed of the alleged Top 50 in the online forum, according to MTV News.
Of the list they've been compiling since October, "JoesPlace" says they got the information "through media and word of mouth." The user also requests that others help out with any information they can -- if they know the singers.
MTV reports that many of the listed contestants are friends on their MySpace pages, despite living in different states, adding to the legitimacy of "JoesPlace's" information.
FOX refused to comment on the findings, as did several of the listed contestants
