Stan Laurel ate more than his stout colleague Oliver Hardy.

Walt Disney spent over a million dollars on "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs." It took three years to make that first full-length cartoon.

Spanky McFarland (of Our Gang, better known as The Little Rascals) became
tired of being his own stand-in. He complained. So the studio made a wooden
image of Spanky, which was jointed and could be made pose in any position.

Shirley Temple's family tree was traced back through pre-Revolutionary New
England to Old England. When the child star lost a tooth on a movie set,
production on the picture was held up three days until a bridge was made to
replace the missing molar.

Harpo Marx never talked in pictures, but off screen he was a fine conversationalist.

Walt Disney started his career by selling newspapers.
