Janice Dickinson didn't quite fulfill her dream of taking the I'm A Celebrity jungle crown - but she was a worthy runner-up to Christopher Biggins.
The mouthy former model came second in the TV contest after a rollercoaster ride which saw her take part in a record number of trials on the show.
She was also at the centre of most of the disputes and dramas in the camp, not to mention becoming a favourite with hosts Ant and Dec.
Janice went out in style, winning five stars in her final Bushtucker Trial - despite earlier being bitten by a rat.
Medics were called to the camp after the 52-year-old was attacked on her hand by the rodent. She said: "It bit me right to the bone. I could feel it go chomp."
The Stakeout trial saw Janice tied down to the jungle floor while five boxes of bugs and slime were tipped all over her.
The final box contained cockroaches and Janice screamed as the crawling bugs were poured over her. As she was released from the handcuff and mopped down by medic Bob, Janice sobbed: "I'm traumatised."
Dec said: "All the way through this series you refused point blank to entertain cockroaches and you did it!"
After her exit, she told Ant and Dec she equated the jungle experience to childbirth. "It's the most difficult thing I've ever done," she said.
"I thought it was a holiday, I thought it was a spa..." she admitted. "I'd do it again, but I miss my children and my boyfriend and the dog."
Janice got her claws into Lynne Franks on their first night in the jungle, calling her a "freak" and a "shrew", after the PR guru suggested what they cook for dinner.
Janice ended up with egg on her face after boasting she would be great at the first task and then bottling it and losing meals for her teammates. But she made up for it when she beat former footballer Rodney Marsh in the next trial, by throwing stars from a sinking car.
She was back to her moaning best when she refused to eat croc eyeballs and a penis in her next task against chef John Burton Race. "This is the sickest game in history. They're looking at me. I can't do it. They're f*****g looking at me. I'm going to have the worst dreams. No." Cheeky John asked for a kiss when he won.
Janice and Lynne were forced to work as a team for the Bushtucker Trial as Lynne sported a suit covered in ostrich food and was lowered into a pen of hungry ostriches by Janice.
The former model then teamed up with Rodney for a highwire Bushtucker Trial which involved crawling along a cable suspended above the canopy.
Janice was chosen to do a record eighth Bushtucker trial, when she and J Brown had to sit in a motorbike and sidecar on a cable above the canopy - they took ten stars back to camp.
Janice and Lynne then reunited for Jungle Sweetshop - which involved holding critters in their mouths. The game pair won nine stars for camp.
But any bond the two ladies had made was soon shattered when Janice refused to say goodbye to Lynne when she got voted out of camp. Instead, Janice and Rodney went to the creek, which stirred up anger in her fellow campers who later accused her of being childish.
She argued: "Our chemistry didn't mix, clearly, and rather than me telling her to go f*** herself, which I didn't want to and I think that's wrong, I bit my tongue and I walked away. I wasn't ready to say bye and wave to her."
Janice and Anna Ryder Richardson had to do one of the most scary Celebrity Chests, when they were made to walk a plank across a ravine. But it was well worth it when they won video messages from home.
All four of the final celebs joined in the Celebrity Cyclone, when they had to battle high winds, water jets and slime to collect three stars. But Janice took a tumble and had to stay behind to see medic Bob.
