Favorite season one episode

My favorite season of Roseanne is season 1.
So i'd like to know what are your favorite episodes or episode..
Mine are: Toto were not in kansas anymore and A nightmare on oak street.

I loved Toto We're Not In Kansas Anymore and Death of Salesman. Season 1 is my least watched season though

Although they're quite funny, i agree that i also do not find the first season a favorite. When a new show starts out, they are just establishing the chracters in the first season and another thing that bothers me is Roseanne's acting, you find her laughing at all the lines in the beginning, same as all newcomers do like Seinfeld or Raymond, then they get better in the nest seasons and eventually even WIN Emmys! LOL!

I agree, i love every season though even season 9, i think the reason why i favour season one is because everyones so young and fresh, also it takes me back to the late 80s early 90s when i first watched it, i have fond memories from back then. :D

Season 1 is also my least watched season. It's not the worst season - it's actually pretty good - but for some reason, I tend to watch the other seasons more.

I loved Toto, We're Not in Kansas Anymore - some of Roseanne's oneliners in this episode were hilarious. Death of a Salesman was also great - kind of a random Roseanne episode, but still it was pretty funny, especially when the couple came to look at the washer and dryer. The episode where Roseanne's parents come for the first time is also a classic.

I loved "Workin' Overtime." I find it very relateable to everyone's lives. Yet, I wanted so bad to kick Booker and the kids in that episode!!!

I know he was a pain in that episode, but not half has bad as Mr Faber i really hated that guy. :mad:

^ Oh, yeah, he sucked too. As a matter of fact, that was another one of my favorites. Along with Toto, we're not in Kansas anymore, Life and Stuff, and the one where Becky's boyfriend's parents come over for dinner (forgot episode name).

One of my favorite episodes of not just season 1, but the whole show is Let's Call it Quits, the season one finale. Season 1 is my third favorite season, and that's because Roseanne, the show was just establishing itself. Radio Days and Lovers' Lane, the bowling episode are great. I like Bridge Over Troubled Sonny a lot, I think it's vintage Roseanne. You have the mall episode, and Becky's Choice where the "Lunts" come to dinner. Aloha this and aloha that. And I like Death and Stuff where the door-to-door salesman dies in their house. The show had a lot of charm in the beginning.

My favorite season one (and most likely of the whole series) episode of Roseanne is "Toto, We're Not in Kansas Anymore." I remember watching it when I was young and being hooked on it - I had a somewhat strange fascination with tornadoes and this episode feed that obsession.

I also like "Mall Story," it's a fun story out of the Conner home.

My favorite episode of season 1 would have to be "Bridge Over Troubled Sonny". Just because it is funny and at the same time very emotional. You learn the truth about Crystal's dead husband Sonny in which you felt so horrible for her because you could see that she loved him within an inch of her soul and despite her aware of his cheating she always forgave him because her love out weighed everything else. A woman has to TRULY love a man to forgive a man who has been decietful to her.
