Kimora Lee Simmons is being sued by department store giant Macy's, for overcharging the firm for her beauty products. Simmons signed to sell her KLS range in its stores in September 2006 - several months after her split from rap mogul Russell Simmons.
But Macy's claims she raised the price - and then refused to pay back the extra profit she made.

Wow! I would say "you go girl", but I, too am a consumer. She should not have let her greed get the best of her if this is true.

She is one of those people who I like and hate at the same time. Does that make any sense?

It makes total sense. It like New York or even Judge Judy.

Yeah, I mean the lady is beautiful, no doubt abt that. She has the brains to run an empire. She knows what she wants and doesn't allow others to dictate to her how she should see things. Strong woman indeed. I admire that. However, I can't stand how she seems to have to have all these material things. When she bought her latest home in Beverly Hills, she said she and her kids are "no longer homeless." ?????? Excuse me? You don't know what homeless is lady.

I TOTALLY understand your feelings, I LOVE her clothes, I've personally have bought lots and lots of her clothing. But sometimes her attitude is so stuck-upish LOL. I'm all for women feeling good about themselves and whatnot and working hard for your own money. But her two little girls have mouths on them. I don't think that a 4 yrold should tell "the cook" that "I'm glad mommy didn't fire you" or "I think we'll keep you."
I have the mouth of a sailor but try I not to curse around my children and watch what I say because they are like little tape recorders. So I don't think that a 4 yrold should speak to adults in the manner that her children does.

Thank you. Her little girls speak like adults. They make Olivia on the Cosby Show look great! I like how she involves her girls in the adult decisions she makes (like buying their home and so forth) but those girls are waaaay too sophisticated (in a bratty way) for their age and I can only imagine how they will be when they hit their teens.
I have never purchased KLS items, but I am looking at her purses online to see if I like anyone of them for a Christmas gift for myself, you know, have my boyfriend buy one for me since he wants a Christmas list from me. I think she has a great business sense. I love how she has established her own identity and her own line of products. I just don't like the snobbish attitude she evokes at times.

Exactly, I want my 4yrold and my 2 yrold to act like they're 4 & 2. I don't want them acting like little adults.
I've bought one dress her KLS collection and that's it. Her KLS collection is too pricey.
