i think it may be shot in Vancover Canada because in the initmite portret they said where they were filming in Vancover that fans were shouting jo...jo.. but i am not sure if thats right but i think it so

In the IP they said they shot the pilot in Vancouvor, but in the article that was in US Weekly (the link for it is on the main board) said it is now being shot somewhere in the LA area.

hey guys-a bit of advice: use common sense. The show takes place in san francisco. they show the golden gate bridge plus other san fran. "trademarks"
put two and two together and what do you get? um, hello! the show is taped in san francisco! wow! did we learn something today?

You don't need the sarcasm. Most shows (ER, West Wing) to name a few go to the places they are supposed to be in about 4 times a year. I went to school in DC last semester and the West Wing was there twice doing location shoots. It is too costly to shoot shows in the places they are supposed to be in so the show tries to squeeze in as many location shoots as they can while they do have the opportunity to go there and build replica sets in LA or NYC where most shows are shot. You could also read the articles and find out where the show is shot too.

Leslie is right. They go on location several times a year to shoot (in this case San Francisco) but the show itself is mainly shot in Los Angeles. I've read several articles featuring Nancy stating that she lives closeby to the studio in Los Angeles and that they have also done some location stuff in L.A.

The filming location is 3 different places actually. The first one listed on the imdb.com board is San Francisco, California; the second one listed is Sun Valley, California; and the third one is Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Hope that helps.
