Even though Curb is much more of an acquired taste, and it'll never cross over to the mainstream the way Seinfeld did (not so much because of HBO, but also because it goes places that Seinfeld never dared), I always thought CYE was the worthy successor to Seinfeld. What do the rest of you think?
For those of you who don't know why I connect the two shows, Curb is Larry David's own version of Seinfeld. I think both shows are great but sometimes Curb makes me laugh harder

I have seen the 1st season of Curb your Enthusiasm on DVD and I have gotten the 2nd one, so I must like it.

I love CYE, it is the "adult" version of Seinfeld.

Its a good show, Richard Lewis is kind of the George. Or I guess Larry David is the George? But he is married and rich, so who knows. Anyway good show. Some of the tie-ups at the end are way out there, not quite as smooth as Seinfeld, or maybe I am on the look-out for them too closely.

CYE is a great show, seems like the earliest seasons are the best. However, it is no replacement for Seinfeld.
That being said, I love Larry David, he IS very funny.

CYI was good in the beginning and slowly faded off. Larry David seems to get more annoying as the seasons went on. It is very entertaining and humorous but sometimes goes way too far. Larry David really stretches the racial boundries.

I don't have HBO but I was able to watch a few episodes of CYI. It had it's funny moments, but it was nothing like Seinfeld. I agree that it's more risque than Seinfeld ever was. Probably becuase it's on HBO and not NBC. But also it's more like a "fake reality show" (no laugh track, follows Larry and his family in various locations, situations). It's been over a year since I've seen any episodes, so I'm going to see if I can rent some from Netflix.
