TvShowsondvd. com is reporting that set two of the color episodes will list at 39.95 and be released February 26, 2008. There are no extras and the 3 disc set will clock in at 450 minutes. (I'm guessing nine shows, which would take us to the end of the 1966-67 season.)

Now if we could get them on a faster schedule!

I wonder if MPI will take selected episodes from the 66-70 years, or if they will continue in order of broadcast. If so, then once this volume is released we should have the first season of the color shows on DVD.

I wonder if MPI will include the short sketches that are not being reran, as well as any reunions from the 70s?

I am sure they will continue in broadcast order.....would make sense, but we'll see. It's appropriate that it releases on what would have been Jackie's 92nd birthday! How sweet it is!

I think it would make sense, too. But I've learned that what I think is logical isn't logical to someone else!

If they're only releasing nine, it should be the last nine from the first season, or at least that's what I'm hoping...I mean, why start releasing the shows in order and then switch it up? It's too bad they couldn't have this out in time for the holidays though.

I'm wondering about those episodes myself, as well as "The Incredible World of Ed Norton" and "Women's Lib." They should all be included somewhere in the Color Honeymooners collection, maybe on a bonus disc or something.

I would be interested in seeing "The Incredible World of Ed Norton" if this is the pilot described in Michael Seth Starr's Art Carney biography. Starr claims it never aired, but how many Norton features would have been shot?

I don't know very much about "The Incredible World of Ed Norton," so I can't verify whether or not it was a pilot, but according to TV.com and a few other sources, it aired on 1/19/70. That places it right in between "Double Trouble" and "We're Off To See The Wizard"...the latter being the second to last episode of that season, so it could've possibly been a pilot. Either way, the episode is described like so: "The crew presents 'The Incredible World of Ed Norton,' an underground view."
