There might have been one more "Seinfeld" episode if Jerry Seinfeld had had his way.
Seinfeld recently floated the idea of doing a new episode of the classic comedy series in an interview with GQ. Some took the idea as a joke. Not so, according to Entertainment Weekly, which asked the funnyman if he was serious.
"Uh, I was," he says in an interview appearing in the new edition of EW. "But I don't think it can happen now."
Seinfeld, promoting "Bee Movie," said the episode would have been completed in time to come out with the sixth-season DVD set, which will hit stores Tuesday. "Obviously, with the movie, it wasn't a good opportunity," he said. "There were too many things happening at the same time."

I think at this point, it's absolutely essential they do an encore episode, simply because the show had a stupid finale, and has become marred by everyone's failed sitcoms and Michael Richard's stupid remarks since then.
They should do an episode where Kramer helps out the black community in some way, it won't erase all the pain, but it would help. Come up with a better finale than that stupid everyone goes to prison bit.

Yeah! They could bring back the guy who played "Carl, The Exterminator" in the episode where George tries to convince Mr. Morgan that he has black friends.
(George Introduces his "long time friend" Carl to Mr. Morgan at the Restaurant)
Carl (to Mr. Morgan): Hi, I'm the Exterminator
George: Yup, that's what we used to call him!

I think they could do one in-character reunion. It's been nearly a decade but the demand is still there and it would get great ratings.
Hell, they could do it as a Curb Your Enthusiasm season arc, since that show is about the "real life" Larry David, imagine a whole mockumentary season about him and Jerry planning out a Seinfeld reunion special... with the "real" reunion special as the season finale.

I think its been too long now. Anything they do would not live up to the hype and most likely be a big letdown.

I am currently reading this wonderful book called "Sein-Off.. The Final Days of Seinfeld", and in it Jerry said that had he been able to see the audience (as in all the millions of people who watched the show instead of just the 200 or so that attended the tapings) that he might have wanted the show to keep going.
I definitely don't want to see a "sequel" to the finale. I liked the way they ended it; with all the characters that they had hurt coming together and then them ending up in jail!
But the most brilliant thing of all was when Jerry uttered the same line for the last line of the last episode that was the first line of the first episode. WOW!!!
