After Sabrina Bryan was shockingly eliminated last night on DWTS, was she legitimately robbed?

I was completely taken back when they announced Sabrina was going home last night! I genuinely believed she would certainly make the Final 3, if not win the entire competition!

If not enough people voted for her, then what could she do? It is based on scores and phone call votes.

Yeah. Dancing With The Stars is a big popularity contest. I guess Sabrina wasn't popular with viewers.

Well it is no secret the contestants pull out all the punches to promote themselves and asking viewers for their votes, not to mention the fans they already have following them. It is not like on American Idol where it is based solely on phone in votes, at least with DWTS, the dancers have to score great in order for those fan votes to even mean anything. If you score poorly, all the votes won't mean a thing. If you score highly, the more callers who vote for you the better your chances are.

Yeah, that's right in most cases....you get a 25, you're off but you get a 30, you're on the top.

But she got a high score, didn't she? I still thing something isn't right with her going home. You'd think she'd have all the Cheetah Girl fans, all the Disney fans. I was thinking the same thing with Wayne Newton this season, but he went home early. It really is a popularity contest on that show. You could get a perfect score and still land in the bottom.

But Wayne Newton didn't have high scores. I think what happened with Sabrina was people didn't vote because they all assumed she didn't need the votes since she was always a top scorer (well this week she wasn't too good with the judges). This is the first time I think a top scorer was eliminated this early.

Personally I thought Sabrina peaked at the wrong time, so by the time she fell a bit under, people weren't pushed to vote for her. I was a fan, but I voted for Mel B because this week she amazed me, and Jennie and Cameron because I like them, but wanted to save them.

But since Wayne didn't have high scores, you'd think people would have voted for him more to keep him in the competition. You're probably right with Sabrina. People just expected her to stay in. I guess that'll teach us all to vote no matter what next time.

You know, I'm doing all this complaining, and I never reall even liked her in the first place-LOL. I really didn't think it was fair for her to be in the competition has a celebrity, since she has had a lot of dancing experience (she is a Cheetah Girl for godsakes), while others like Wayne haven't.

He didn't score very well, he was a poor dancer. That reminds me of that hip-hop guy from that other season who was sooo terrible, but remained for so long on the show. His scores were low, but he had a flood of votes, so that pushes him up the ladder...add that to the great scorers whose fans probably didn't vote or as was stated, felt they didn't need to vote since they scored so well. As the poor dancers move up, the great scorers move down because they didn't get the votes that mattered.
