Our Women
Starring Tim Daly and Steven Weber as a pair of fortysomething brothers who live in their Boston hometown with their wives and kids, and even their ex-wives. Both brothers, Dave (Tim Daly) and Mike (Steven Weber) have been married, then divorced, then remarried to new women. Dave first was married to his first wife (his now ex-wife), Samantha (Julia Louis Dreyfus) who was his college flame, and had been married for ten years until he went through a midlife crises and later divorced her, yet remained on civil terms with her. Dave then few years later, remarried to Laura (Faith Ford), who suited Dave's marital needs and welcomed the idea of childbirth and giving birth to his two children (Adam, 8, and Brooke, 5). Also, Mike first was married to his first wife (his now ex-wife), Noelle (Lisa Kudrow), who was his high school sweetheart who ended up having his first-born daughter out of wedlock at age 19. Mike and Noelle got married shortly after Noelle gave birth to their daughter, Brandilyn (Evan Rachel Wood)-who's now 21 and slightly rebellious and resentful of her father. Mike and Noelle divorced five years later, because they both were having affairs. Later, Mike remarried to Lisa (Rachel Griffiths), who later turned out to be the love of his life and mother of his three kids (Katie, 11, Josh, 8, and Autumn, 6). To add to the complicated lifestyles of the Conner brothers, both their wives are friends with both their ex-wives. Laura, Lisa, Samantha, and Noelle hangout and do "girlfriend outings" together, even though it has been a bit uncomfortable for their (ex) husbands. In addition, Dave and Mike's meddlesome yet good-natured loving parents, Bob and Marilyn (John Mahoney, Dianne Wiest) has just moved back into town after moving out to live in Seattle to help take care of Marilyn's aging (now deceased) parents.
