(The Cleveland Indians beat the NY Yankees 2-1.)

(Ralph & Ed just watched the game at Norton's apartment.)

Ralph: "Boy, what a heartbreaker that was. The Yankees had the lead all game and now they let it slip away. I can't stand to see another blown opportuinty to win a World championship."

Ed: "I know Ralph." (starting to cry): "It is cruel. Cruel. Cruel."

Ralph: "Now the Yankees head back to the Bronx down two games. But, something tells me that they will win at least one game and maybe game 4 and maybe game 5."

Ed: "Yeah, I want them to clobber the Rex Sox in the next round."

Ralph: "Me too. Nothing like getting revenge on them for whapt happened three years ago. The Red Sox beating the Yankees after the Yanks had a three game lead."

Ed: "Yeah. Also, lok on the bright side. Both of us are going to Yankee Stadium to cheer on the Yanks."

Ralph: "Yeah, even though Alice wants me to go to her mother's that day. It is her anniversary. I am not going. When she comes up here, I will tell here that. I am the King of my castle. The King Norton! I rule my kingdom. Alice is nothing. I am just like Richard the Lion-Hearted."

(Alice comes up.)

Ralph: "Oh hiya sweetheart."

Ed: "Mighty friendly way to talk to a nothing."

(Ralph gets angry.)

Ed: "Alice, Ralph is the King of his castle. He is just like Richard the Lion-Hearted. He has something to say."

Alice: "Go right ahead Ralph. Tell me.....Isn't there something that you wanted to say o' mighty king? Tell me, the nothings got a right to know."

Ralph (yells): "YOU THINK I WON'T TELL YOU! IS THAT WAHT YOU THINK?"

Alice: "That is right o' Richard the Chicken-Hearted."

Ralph (yells): "JUST FOR THAT, I WON'T TELL YOU."

(Ralph leaves.)

Ed: "Richard the Chicken-Hearted. Ha ha ha."

(Jackie Gleason comes on stage.)

Jackie: "Folks, time to introduce the cast. First Audrey Meadows."

(Aud comes out and greets Jackie.)

Jackie: "And Art Carney."

(Art comes out and greets Jackie.)

Jackie: "GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE!"
