Maybe it is a tribute to somebody that we don't know about?

The original concept didn't even have a kid in it. Kelly Carr was single and had no children.

I don't think so. What's old is new again. Emma use to be an old name and now it is very popular again.

I agree. Gracie does sound like an old woman's name...They might as well have named her Agnes, Bonnie, or Mildred.

I like the name for their kid.
I have a friend named Grace and people call her Gracie all the time. :lol:

She looks like the girl from The Ring. I think she needs a haircut because she is cute....I'm just not feeling the hair :lol:

I think the name has a deeper meaning. The fact that it was not exactly a planned child but still a grace in her mother's life :) .

What in the World is wrong with Gracie , its just the nickname for Grace, a very elegant name.....and as far as Gracie sounding "old" Gracie is the KID nickname for Grace , just as Johnny is the kid nickname for John, so how could that make her sound old?!

I think Grace is an old name, and a pretty name. It was my grandmother's name.
