Sarah Jessica Parker stars in this new sitcom as Linda Spicer, moderator of "The Hot Seat", a discussion show featuring three panelists who question a special guest on a chosen topic. Featuring Jennifer Elise Cox as Linda's producer and best friend, Stephanie Caruso. First episode: "You Seem To Be A Fraud". Jennie Garth guests as Sally Meredith, head of a PeTA-type animal-rights outfit. Unknown actors play Dan Steckel, head of a consumer-rights group, Marianne Shanks, head of a fur-wearers rights group, and John Ankers, a reporter who uncovers the activities of Ms. Meredith's organization. This causes Sally to walk off the show. Later at the end of "HS", Linda, with Marianne's assistance, puts on a fur coat, and the audience applauds.
