Carell's Upcoming Film, "Dan In Real Life"

He plays a widower who falls in love with a woman who just happens to be (he finds out later) his brother's girlfriend. The character seems very different from Michael Scott, but it seems like there are a couple "Michael" joke moments from the trailer. I'm going to see it!

It looks very mellow .. but I still have plans to watch it!

I actually got to see an advance screening of the movie, and it was really, really good. Steve is definitely more mellow than Michael Scott in the role, and it's a nice change for him. He does have some hilarious parts (see: the dancing in the bar scene (http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/1809782756/video/4459904/20071010/51/4459904-700-flash-s.46495841-,4459904-100-wmv-s.46495809-,4459904-700-wmv-s.46495819-,4459904-1000-flash-s.46495844-,4459904-100-flash-s.46495836-,4459904-300-flash-s.46495839-,4459904-1000-wmv-s.46495823-,4459904-300-wmv-s.46495815-) -- there's a bit of it in the preview) but he does an awesome job in the more serious scenes, so I've really come to think of him as just an all-around talented actor now.

This was a great movie; especially since I really had no plans to see it but we wanted to see something! I was thinking about this movie today and I think I'm going to rent it so I can watch it again!
